We’ve taken the easy first step by adding links to IMDB and TMDB.
The harder second step is coming: add arbitrary links (e.g., amazon). We will probably need our members to add/maintain those links, so that will require more development.
Happy to hear suggestions for more sites to link to.

More exactly, you could reserve slots for English Wikipedia and Wikipedia in the language of the film.

Very true, we’ve found in our research that this is the case. It would be nice to have a “rating mode” where you can turn the predicted stars off.

I think this is a really great idea.
Others: would a “thank you” email message make you feel good? Would you rather see thank you messages in the interface, or with badges/points?

Not really a thanks note. However a reminder "You rated your 100th/200th movie" wouldn't hurt.
