    (I'm not the initial poster)

I would like to be able to get the first X movies from the "top picks" list. Possibly also predicted ratings for specific movies.

As I often check my top recommendations and see them change around I am interested in seeing how my ratings and recommendations change over time and with the ratings I give.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think movielens uses item-item collaborative fitering. Wizard and Warrior might be pure collaborative filtering vs a mixture with content based filtering (such as additionally using year, genre and tag information).

I'd really like to know what's hiding behind the two algorithms, even in simple terms.

I have noticed that only tags already given to a movie turn up in the suggestions. I would like it if the suggestions were also taken from the most commonly given tags in general.

I like the big and bold design and pretty pictures. It's a modern, mobile device driven devlopement not to everyone's liking. But seeing the new web design really drew me into movielens again after having forgotten about it for quite some time.

Thanks for the suggestion. Letterboxd does provide RSS feeds, so this is theoretically possible. Let’s see if others vote for this feature.
