Put a programmatic application programming interface on MovieLens.
I want to use MovieLens recommendations in my other applications which I develop. A web service API would allow me access without wasting time with webscraping.

Hey, I would also be very interested in an API, mostly to integrate the recommenders picks into other apps using the imdb link !

(I'm not the initial poster)
I would like to be able to get the first X movies from the "top picks" list. Possibly also predicted ratings for specific movies.
As I often check my top recommendations and see them change around I am interested in seeing how my ratings and recommendations change over time and with the ratings I give.
