Please keep the group recommendation function!
My boyfriend and I have differing tastes in movies and use this feature to find movies we're both interested in seeing: it would be a bummer to lose it from the new version of the site!
1 voteThanks for the feedback! Glad to hear that you use that feature. Would you please add your votes (or comments) to the existing thread on this topic?

Thanks for the feedback! I am declining this because it is very closely related to this other issue: http://movielens.uservoice.com/forums/238501-general/suggestions/5495139-show-movie-titles-when-hovering-over-a-cover Please add votes or comments there.

this tablet-style layout version is unusable.
Old version is not trendy sexy, but it does what it is needed. No need to dumb everything down.

Expand the way you can see the information about your ratings. Please don't remove it!
I love looking at the graphs and the statistics of my ratings. It is the reason I keep going back to MovieLens. I would love to be able to see it different kinds of graphs or be able to compare my ratings with other buddies or friends.
3 votesThanks for the feedback! I’m going to close this issue, since it is a duplicate of http://movielens.uservoice.com/forums/238501-general/suggestions/5554298-keep-the-about-your-ratings-feature
Please contribute your votes or comments to that thread. Thanks!

Why is the Sidebar now at the top!?
I'm lost! I honestly liked it on the side! Why change something that wasn't a problem to begin with?
1 voteThe problem is that the current version of movielens does not work well on mobile devices (including tablets). One goal of the redesign is to have a “responsive” layout that works better across a variety of devices. That is solvable with a side menu, but we went a different direction, design-wise.
Sorry this makes you less happy! Hopefully this is more of a “get used to it” kind of thing, rather than a serious functional defect.

New Interface is Overly Simplified
Whereas I can see wanting to simplify the main page, this is too much. I don't like Movielens looking like Netflix or Primewire. The way it is presented now, it seems like more of a sponsored site that is trying to advertise particular movies. Almost looks like a Pop-up Ad!
1 voteCould you be more specific in what you’d like added to the interface?
We have certainly heard feedback (see other threads) that the search/explore interface should be made more information dense. Perhaps you could add your votes and specific ideas to those threads?
I’m going to close this thread. Please add your voice to this one: http://movielens.uservoice.com/forums/238501-general/suggestions/5513350-options-to-hide-posters-alternative-layout

I do not like the look of the update. I can read, I don't need pictures. There is nothing wrong with the current format.
An improvement would be a way to filter out useless entries like Bulgarian documentaries about sea urchins. There has to be a concession to availability by the average site user. No more TV shows and video games. I have rated nearly 1700 movies. Having to weed through pages of movie posters instead of seeing a list of latest additions is inefficient and unnecessary. I can go on if you like but the bottom line is do not change the format, just work on how to make the current version work more efficiently and accurately. Also, not everyone uses Facebook or…
1 voteThere is already another thread on adding a “no images” search interface, please contribute your thoughts (or votes) there. And, please keep your feedback constructive.

Don't use downloadable fonts for icons
You (and other sites) are using arbitrary characters in custom fonts as icons. My browser version does not support that. Don't use it or provide a fallback for users like me.
1 voteSorry, we just don’t have the developer time to support old browsers. For now, we’ll test down to IE9.
