Currently pops out to the right, due to "excellent" UI positioning in the first place, this results in half of it not appearing offscreen to the right in Chrome and 1/3 in IE. This needs to pop in to the left in its current position, seriously where was the testing? It is a bizarre world out there, and perhaps it is self-fulfilling design philosophy but features such as "sort by" should not be dismissed, users do use such features if they are CLEARLY made available and EASY to use. "Sort by" should be next to the "view... filters... more" buttons from a design perspective, and hey that will save on fixing the current buggy design*. Currently like "Cancel" and "OK" buttons on opposite sides of the screen, it is like high school programming all over again, how can anyone get that wrong?

I think the position of the "sort by" button is good for more than one reason. However I agree that the panel with the options should be presented differently. I think these options should be left aligned. I "fixed" this and other annoyances for myself using the extension *stylish* for my browser (*firefox*). I added css code:
.current-search-param ul {
left: auto !important;
right: -2.5px;
text-align: right;
min-width: 20px;
}
I made many other changes to adjust the page look to my liking, I think the code above is the only one relevant to this "problem." Please note my screen is 1366×768 and I cannot say the values I used are good for all screen sizes.
