Wizard recommender mis-ordering?
Hi,
It seems that the Wizard recommender doesn't order the recommendations correctly if there are too many films in the whole set. I see films with 3.5 star recommendations above 4 star, and this persists until I add in a filter that reduces the total number of films selected eg num. ratings.
I presume this is a bug, and hopefully one that can be easily fixed?
Thanks for the site, and keep up the good work. I look forward to reading what you've found out about recommendations and choices!
Hi John, thanks for the suggestion. This isn’t a bug (we’re not ordering strictly by prediction). However, we’ve gotten other reports on this one, and recognize that it is confusing. I think we’ll probably add separate sorting options: sort by predicted rating, and sort by movielens recommended order.

@josep - we're currently conducing research studies on the ordering function and the wizard/warrior selector, which is why we are not revealing much information about those elements of the systems.

Hello,
I had also reported that issue. Could you explain a little more what kind of elements you are using a part from prediction ? I was thinking that only prediction was used to recommend... (perhaps my definition of 'prediction' is not the same).
I would like to know also what is the basic difference between the warrior and the wizard recommender.
Thank you.
