Hover over options such as add to wishlist
Instead of the little menu by the rating where you can choose to add a movie to your wishlist etc. it would be much nicer to have those options while hovering over the poster. (And, as another person suggested, have the title.)
Since the posters are so large, I think hover over options would look really nice with the overall look.
I’m going to mark this as completed, since we now have the “pin” wishlist widget on each movie tile.

I think the posters are too small. The bottom is cut off all of them, meaning you can't read the movie title on many. The text title above the poster is also frequently truncated. Browsing is slow and frustrating without being able to see the movie title, year, and genres at a glance.
A good option would be to click on the movie poster to expand a full width "banner" underneath the poster with movie details, in case you want a bit of a closer look at a movie (or to wishlist it) without losing your browsing position or opening a new tab.
Apparently there's a "widget" that lets you choose the layout but I haven't found any such option so far.
Also, the little menu mentioned above is frequently cut off when a new section follows it. I've submitted a bug about this but I've just noticed it happening on some movie detail pages too:

Thanks for the feedback! MovieLens now has a hover effect on its cards, but not with any interactive features. On the other hand, the cards are now much smaller, which may derail your idea a bit.
I agree that the toolbar next to the ratings isn't ideal - it needs work!
